Fort McMurray (within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo) is a thriving community with lively social, arts, recreational, and cultural opportunities as well as an important hub for the energy industry in Alberta. As our Indigenous Travelling Team Mental Health Therapist, you will be based out of Fort McMurray (FMM) and regularly travelling to a number of rural Indigenous communities in the area. This position works as an integral member of an inter-disciplinary team to support Indigenous clients and communities by providing evidence informed and best practices in assessment, treatment, Addiction and Mental Health interventions, support and follow-up to clients.

This is an advanced Mental Health role required to perform the restricted activity of Psychosocial Interventions to address the full range of Addiction and Mental Health issues. You will work collaboratively with multiple teams, including the FMM Strong Wellness team, Addictions & Mental Health team and Population, and Public & Indigenous Health team, under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor.
