Summary:     With an approach of professional calm you can support women and their children during times of crisis. Your empathetic and non-judgmental approach allows you to provide a calm first point of contact. You also know your way around databases and records, providing accurate and organized admin work.  We take our work seriously but not ourselves so a sense of humour and joy in life is a must.
Qualifications:     • Human Services related diploma or degree
• Minimum two years experience working in the field of violence against women
• Minimum two years experience in data entry and data collection
• Experience working with social services data collection tools
• Strong communication skills
• Be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
Description:     • Answer crisis line calls on 24 hour crisis line and respond to women’s inquiries
• Provide support, crisis intervention, community referrals and information
• Complete call contact reports and data entry of current clients
• Manage the scheduling of front line staff for the Shelter program, insuring that all shifts are appropriately covered
