The Sinneave Family Foundation – Background

The Sinneave Family Foundation (Sinneave) formed in 2008 to address the challenges experienced by emerging adults with autism.  Sinneave offers specific services and collaborates with a variety of partners to enhance the transition to adulthood, build and share promising practices, enable system capacity and influence policy.  We are seeking a dynamic self-directed leader to join the Sinneave team as Director of Professional Practice and Evaluation.  This new position will lead a skilled inter-disciplinary team in delivering service excellence, building out pathways into the community and overseeing client service focused measurement and evaluation.

This is a full time position and pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:     Qualifications
• A Masters prepared professional ideally with experience working with emerging adults and families who are impacted by autism (Baccalaureate level degree in Social Work, Disability and Community Studies or a relevant Allied Health field)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional practice experience with a demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations in the following areas: program development, service delivery, team leadership, community engagement, measurement and evaluation
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports and a demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high performance team
• Strong working knowledge of and commitment to measurement and outcome evaluation
Description:     Responsibilities
Professional Practice Leadership
• Directly oversees and acts as an experienced professional practice resource to a team of inter-disciplinary professionals serving emerging adults and families impacted by autism
• Establishes and implements strategies to inspire, promote, and advance professional development of staff and self
• Demonstrates professional maturity in critical thinking, problem solving and change management strategies and skills
Operational Performance
• Demonstrates an ability to set and manage multiple concurrent priorities
• Recommends and implements strategies to enhance behavioral and organizational practices that are critical to the development of a professional practice environment
• Prepares, analyzes, and manages budgets to ensure optimum financial performance for assigned area(s) of responsibility

Community Partnerships
• Continues to grow the professionally credible voice of Sinneave in the community as an outcome oriented organization focused on improving the transition to adulthood for individuals with autism
• Works collaboratively with community based organizations to enhance integrated pathways of support

Measurement and Evaluation
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of program logic models and evaluation frameworks as foundational to quality and service improvement and the development of promising practices
• Supports the development and effective use of management systems and databases to provide the professional practice team and organizational leadership with information and analyses to be used in planning and decision making (e.g. outcomes tracking, dashboards, bench marking).
• Demonstrates strong analytic skills and the ability to integrate findings into practice and through knowledge exchange activities
