ACSW and Camrose/Lloydminster Area Coordinators are pleased to present the Standards of Practice – A Tool for Navigating Challenging Areas of Practice workshop. Social workers encounter a wide range of situations in the course of their day to day practice.  The very nature of social work gives rise to professional and ethical challenges.  Whether these situations involve impaired co-workers, clients who are homicidal or suicidal, conflict in the workplace or conflict of interest, this workshop is designed to prepare you for a myriad of ethical dilemmas and difficult situations.

Bruce Llewellyn, MSW, RSW
 

Bruce joined the Alberta Association of Social Workers in 1984. After retiring from government service, he joined the Alberta College of Social Workers as a staff member in October 2013. 

As one of the Managers of Regulatory Practice, he is committed to supporting members facing challenges maintaining their competency as well as educating members on the Continuing Competence Program.


Attendance Requirements:  

In order to receive the 3 Category A credits participants must attend the entire workshop.
Partial credits will not be provided.

Fees (Includes Light Refreshments):

$25 for RSW and ACSW members

$15 for ACSW student members

$20 for other social work students

$50 for all other participants
