Capital Region Housing and C5 (Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, Boyle Street Community Services, Terra Centre for Teen Parents, Norwood Child and Family Resource Centre and Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society)  invite you to a collaborative workshop on October 3, 2016 from 9AM-12PM to generate innovative ideas and solutions for maintaining and growing Alberta’s affordable housing supply.  This workshop has a dual purpose: firstly, we are hoping to generate ideas for submission to the Federal Government for the National Housing Strategy currently under development.  Secondly we hope to generate ideas and opportunities that could address the challenge of affordable housing in Edmonton.

The workshop will take place in the Jefferson Room at the Prince of Wales Armoury (10440 108 Avenue). Treats and coffee will be provided.

We are looking to have a generative and forward-looking conversation that could lead to an improved housing situation in Edmonton.  A background package is attached to provide some additional context for this workshop.

Please RSVP to katie.macdonald@crhc.ca if you are able to attend.

We look forward to seeing you there!
