Emotional Capacity is essential for living a productive life. Without Emotional Capacity responses, relational circuits go off and people respond with: fight, flight, or freeze. Learn what emotional capacity is, what depletes it, and some practical ways to expand it.

Erna Topliffe, RCSW, MSW, BA
 

Erna Topliffe, MSW, RSW, is a clinical social worker in private practice as Joshua Tree Inc. working as a counsellor since January 1991. Previously she has worked as a diversified caseworker, child protection officer and child protection supervisor. Erna has one son, a daughter-in-law and 2 grand-cats (Igor & Gizmo). She enjoys singing in choirs, growing flowers, learning Hebrew, and volunteering at cultural events.

Diane Dyck, RSW, BSW, Certified Professional Coach

Diane Dyck has 14 years’ experience as a contract adoption social worker. Diane has been married for 26 years and has three children, ages 22, 20 and 16.

Attendance Requirements:  

In order to receive the 3 Category A credits participants must attend the entire workshop.
Partial credits will not be provided.

Fees (Includes a Light Snack):

$35 for RSW and ACSW members

$25 for ACSW student members

$30 for other social work students

$60 for all other participants
