Everything you wanted to know about LGBTQ+ but were afraid to ask. Join this educational and interactive session, which sheds some light on gender and sexual diversity and provides a framework for Social Work practice with clients who do not fit within traditional sex and gender binaries.

Johnathan Kuipers, BSW, RSW
 

Johnathan Kuipers is new to the Calgary area and is currently working on his MSW thesis through the University of Calgary. He devoted many of his early years in Social Work to collaborating with, creating programs for, and advancing the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Johnathan is excited to continue his professional career in Alberta, share with his colleagues, and pursue his passions in mindfulness, trauma informed, and clinical social work practice.



Attendance Requirements:  

In order to receive the 3 Category A credits participants must attend the entire workshop.
Partial credits will not be provided.

Fees (Include Light Refreshments):

$30 for RSW and ACSW members

$20 for ACSW student members

$25 for other social work students

$60 for all other participants
