Each year the Calgary Zone Social Work Professional Practice Council and the University of Calgary-Faculty of Social Work (UofC-FSW) sponsors a major workshop in the spring with an internationally recognized presenter. This year the SW Council and UofC-FSW, in partnership with the Calgary Zone Psychology Professional Practice Council, are very pleased to be sponsoring a workshop by Dr. Dziegielewski, presenting on The Changing Face of Health Care Social Work (Day 1) and Psychopharmacology for the Non-Medically Trained Professional (Day 2). Day 1 of the workshop is designed for a social work audience. Day 2 of the workshop has broad applicability for a range of healthcare roles The information provided in this 2-day workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge directly relevant to everyday practice in many healthcare settings. The workshop will be held at the University of Calgary on June 14 & 15, 2018. Registration includes both 2-day and 1-day sign-up options.
